Award-winning Producer/Director of high-end factual documentaries with a specialism in arts and history, I’ve worked across a wide range of landmark and prime time programmes – from true crime, science and business to music, topical arts and contemporary history - for both national and international broadcasters, including the BBC, Channel 4, Sky Arts, Smithsonian Channel and PBS.
Taking films from initial idea through to final delivery, my credits include investigative, presenter-led, observational, testimony-driven and studio shows and I have extensive experience of working with high end crew, graphics and archive.
I’ve directed big name broadcasters and well known talent from the world of art, music, comedy and entertainment. I also have a passion for working on emotional testimony-driven human stories and a strong track record of directing sensitive interviewees.
With 17 years of TV industry experience - including 12 years as staff at BBC Television - and boasting an EMMY nomination and a BAFTA award, I’m known for my strong storytelling skills, my ability to get the best out of on-screen talent and my creative flair in bringing a story alive on screen.
